Delos. Greece. One of the carved marble bull heads which adorned every second triglyph of the Doric colonnade façade of the Portico (stoa) of Antigonos Gonatas. The colonnade comprised 47 columns made of blue-grey Tenos marble. The stoa dates from the 3rd century BCE and is in the Sacred Precinct of Apollo.Delos. Greece.
